About Erin as a Counselor

Erin is a Masters Student Intern. She provides in person counseling in Camas, WA or online counseling for Washington and Oregon residents.

Erin offers compassion and genuine care for her clients. She views counseling as a collaborative, healing relationship through which the client is empowered, supported, and challenged to heal, change, and grow in the ways the client deems important. Erin seeks to provide support for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, relational problems and more. Her approach is gentle and caring, allowing clients to feel safe and cared for as they explore and face life or relational challenges and difficult past experiences.

Training and Background

Erin is completing her Master of Arts in Counseling from Multnomah University with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Multnomah University in Applied Psychology. Relevant coursework includes Advanced Counseling Skills, Narrative Therapy, Couples, Families, and Other Systems, Social and Cultural Diversity. In individual counseling Erin uses a blend of Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. Her theoretical training and orientation for couples is Gottman Couples Therapy.

$90 – 50 minute Individual Counseling
$110 – 50 minute Couples Counseling
$120 – 50 minute Diagnostic Assessment
*Limited Reduced Rate Scholarships are available upon request

Tuesdays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Wednesdays 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Fridays 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
All appointments must be scheduled in advance

Erin is an out-of-network provider and as a student intern is not eligible to submit superbills to clients for insurance reimbursement. Limited Reduced Rate Scholarships are available for those in financial need.

Counselors and providers are better able to protect your personal and health information with the greatest degree of privacy when you pay privately for your services without using insurance. Your records remain free from any audit or compliance check. You have the most flexibility and control in deciding the session frequency, longevity, content, and interventions. Mental health diagnoses are not provided to your insurance.

Additional Information

Erin loves spending time with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she can be found working in her garden, reading, or exploring the Columbia River Gorge. Erin is able to incorporate a Christian faith perspective into counseling for any client who desires faith integration.
