Esther is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. She provides in person counseling in Camas, WA or online counseling for Washington residents.
Esther understands the tremendous honor it is to be able to walk with clients and offers genuine, compassionate care. She has a peaceful, empathetic presence that helps her clients feel comfortable as they address their concerns and challenges. In the counseling room, Esther utilizes effective approaches to navigate client’s concerns. Her clients appreciate Esther’s interactive approach, attentive listening, and wise insights. Esther equips her clients with practical and useful tools and resources they can use to continue the work in between sessions. Esther is skilled in helping clients identify their strengths and successes, and how those can be utilized in addressing challenges.
Esther specializes in working with clients navigating grief ranging from intangible losses, to life changes, to death of loved ones, including perinatal loss. Additionally, her education and experience in Early Childhood Education have given her both the skills and ability to help guide parents through the struggles of raising young children. Esther uses her training and experience to help those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. As Esther works with clients, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment therapy, to process, heal, grow, increase confidence, move forward, and find enjoyment again.
Training and Background
Esther has a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Multnomah University in Portland, OR. She has a Bachelors of Science in Social and Behavioral Studies from George Fox University in Portland, OR.
Esther is certified in MommaCare for pregnancy and infant loss. Her previous experience has been seeing a range of clients in Private Practice settings since 2016.

Your records remain free from any audit or compliance check. You have the most flexibility and control in deciding the session frequency, longevity, content, and interventions. Mental health diagnoses are not provided to your insurance.
