About Glenn as a Therapist

Glenn Maia is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Washington), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (Oregon). He is able to provide in person counseling in Camas, WA or online counseling for Washington and Oregon residents. 

Glenn has a client-focused, gentle style that prioritizes authentic relationship. He wants you to feel safe to open up, relax, and feel comfortable in sessions. He regularly incorporates humor, visuals, and gentle challenges in therapy. Glenn recognizes that coming to therapy isn’t a weakness, but demonstrates a strength to prioritize your health, and he is honored to assist you in meeting your goals.

Training and Background

He earned his master’s degree in counseling from Western Seminary in 2013.
His previous clinical experience includes adult intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, youth residential programs, teen inpatient, and community mental health counseling. Glenn has worked with people on a range of issues, from life adjustments to severe psychosis.

*Superbills available for all other insurances for client to submit for Out-of-Network Reimbursement
When exploring your out-of-network benefits, ask your insurance about the policy/coverage for an out-of-network provider, deductible, rate of reimbursement, process for obtaining reimbursement, and if prior-authorization is required.

Counselors and providers are better able to protect your personal and health information with the greatest degree of privacy when you pay privately for your services without using insurance. Your records remain free from any audit or compliance check. You have the most flexibility and control in deciding the session frequency, longevity, content, and interventions. Mental health diagnoses are not provided to your insurance.
