Jenna Paulsen

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (WA), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (OR)

About Jenna as a Counselor

Jenna is a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate in Washington and a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate in Oregon. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor. Her Direct Supervisor is Blake Arnold. She is able to provide in person counseling in Camas, WA or online counseling for Washington and Oregon residents.

Jenna sees the need for supportive non-parent mentors and adults in the lives of children and adolescents. Supporting and helping parents, children, teenagers, and families alike understand their personal hardships and how to successfully overcome them fuels Jenna’s passion to counsel. Along the same lines, young adults struggle with transitional periods and seek out guidance on the wisest choices for them. Jenna’s goal is to help children, adolescents, and the young adult population pinpoint areas where they want to grow and to walk alongside them as they strive to meet those aspirations.

Jenna’s passion for counseling youth stems from over 8 years of volunteer experience. Jenna wants to apply the knowledge gained from studying Psychology and Sociology. Understanding the developmental, physical, cognitive, and emotional changes that children and teens are going through can aid in their overall wellbeing.

Jenna’s passion for youth counseling stems from years of volunteering with students 13-18 years old. Jenna wants to apply the knowledge gained from studying Psychology and Sociology. Understanding the developmental, physical, cognitive, and emotional changes that both youth and young adults struggle with can assist parents, coaches, and mentors to discover ways to come along side these age groups in time of need.
