Trayc is an out-of-network provider and is able to provide superbills (“therapy receipts”) to any client who wishes to use his/her out-of-network benefits.
When exploring your out-of-network benefits, you may want to ask your insurance carrier about the policy/coverage for an out-of-network provider, deductible, rate of reimbursement, number of sessions authorized per year, process for obtaining reimbursement, and if prior-authorization is required.
Counselors and providers are better able to protect your personal and health information with the greatest degree of privacy when you pay privately for your services without using insurance. Your records remain free from any audit or compliance check. You have the most flexibility and control in deciding the session frequency, longevity, content, and interventions. Mental health diagnoses are not provided to your insurance.
