About Trayc as a Counselor

Trayc is a licensed counselor in WA (MC61489831). She provides in-person counseling in Camas, WA or online counseling for Washington residents.

Life brings many transitions, and sometimes it feels like there are no breaks in the changes or pauses in the avalanche of issues weighing us down. Through a collaborative relationship with her clients, Trayc offers a place where the weights of life can be lifted and a lighter step given in return. With an empathetic focus on strengths, resilience, and psychoeducation Trayc believes in the change-ability of her clients and looks forward to helping them find joy, peace, and laughter as they process through the roadblocks and dissonance that have held them back.

Trayc’s core belief is that every person she meets has worth and deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. As a former teacher, she knows the value of an encouraging word and the purpose of a well-placed challenge. It is not unusual for a counseling session with Trayc to bring tears and laughter held within a space of ongoing certainty that each client is far more capable than they may realize. Her eclectic blend of counseling theories, influenced mainly by Adlerian and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is geared toward what the client needs to grow while utilizing their strengths, values, and goals in the therapeutic process.

Training and Background

Trayc received her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Western Seminary in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. Trayc holds certification in SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich Pre-Marital counseling and has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy training. She is also a certified Life Coach.

Trayc is an out-of-network provider and is able to provide superbills (“therapy receipts”) to any client who wishes to use his/her out-of-network benefits.

When exploring your out-of-network benefits, you may want to ask your insurance carrier about the policy/coverage for an out-of-network provider, deductible, rate of reimbursement, number of sessions authorized per year, process for obtaining reimbursement, and if prior-authorization is required.

Counselors and providers are better able to protect your personal and health information with the greatest degree of privacy when you pay privately for your services without using insurance. Your records remain free from any audit or compliance check. You have the most flexibility and control in deciding the session frequency, longevity, content, and interventions. Mental health diagnoses are not provided to your insurance.
