About Alisha as a Counselor
Alisha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. She provides in person counseling in Camas, WA or online counseling for Washington residents.
Alisha is a compassionate and supportive licensed clinical social worker and therapist. She practices from an ecological-developmental perspective, navigating from the person, as a function of their environment, within the context of early attachment needs. Her passion for social justice guides her focus on values and trust within the therapeutic relationship. She emphasizes building a safe and trusting therapist and client relationship. Meeting the client where they are at and empowering them to be their leader of their story and life! Alisha works with children, teens, adults, families, parents, and couples. She is very experienced in working with teens and adolescents.
Training and Background
Alisha has a combined education and personal commitment to early intervention practices. She has an undergraduate degree in Human Development and a masters degree in Social Work, continuing this training in clinical practice and licensed supervision with Veterans. Alisha has enriched experience working with community mental health, clinical in/out-patient, as well as behavioral crisis support. Alisha is also a licensed substance abuse counselor with experience assessing and treating addiction and dual diagnosis conditions. Alisha has extended experience working with chronic medical conditions, adjusting to medical conditions and medical trauma. Lastly, Alisha is trained and knowledgeable with DBT, and mindfulness practices, focusing on a bottom up approach.
$150 – 50 minute Individual Counseling
$180 – 50 minute Couples Counseling

All appointments must be scheduled in advance
Alisha is able to offer supervisory billing under her direct supervisor in order to offer in-network benefits and rates for clients with PacificSource Commercial Insurance.
Alisha is an out-of-network provider and is able to provide superbills (“therapy receipts”) to any client who wishes to use his/her out-of-network benefits with all other commercial insurance carriers.
When exploring your out-of-network benefits, ask your insurance about the deductible, reimbursement, and process for submitting superbills.
Counselors and providers are better able to protect your personal and health information with the greatest degree of privacy when you pay privately for your services without using insurance. Your records remain free from any audit or compliance check. You have the most flexibility and control in deciding the session frequency, longevity, content, and interventions. Mental health diagnoses are not provided to your insurance.
